We have just been made aware that substantial building works at the pool will now last till mid July (instead of March!), which will prevent us from holding Race 1 in April.
This is a serious blow to the race series that’s been going since 2002. With so many already signed up it’s far from ideal.
Rather than cancel the race outright we’d rather find another date when the pool is refurbished and fully functional.
Our only option is to reschedule this race for 31st July.
Obviously this won’t suit everyone but I hope most people can still make it.
The weather in April can be a tad chilly and dark in the mornings so there are bonuses to a lovely summer super sprint!
Please let me know whether you’d like to be transferred automatically over to the new date, have your race fee deferred to another race or get a refund.
