The Bedford Classic Triathlon

This is the main event.
An olympic distance with a 1500m town-centre river swim. A one lap 40km bike course with something for everyone - super-fast flats, a couple of testing hills and a course distance that is actually 40km! To finish off we have a 3 lap 10km run course that takes you round the victorian embankment that is the jewel in Bedford's crown. Totally flat and fast with great spectator support!
Mini Tri
If you don't fancy battling it out in the full olympic distance race there is always the Mini Tri. Still a river swim but only 200m followed by a quick 15k bike and a 3.3k run round the Embankment. Maybe you'll get close to Chrissie Wellington's 2006 time of 43:41.
